The CIRS Model 056 Kidney Training Phantom was designed for interventional training and 3D surface rendering. It is scannable on all sides.
The Kidney Training Phantom is constructed of transparent, anechoic, nonflowing, water-based gel, approximately 10 x 16 x 20 mm, with an embedded kidney. The kidney (~200cc) is homogeneous with no internal structures. Protected by a membrane, the phantom's flesh-like consistency simulates needle resistance. The phantom total weight is 9.6lbs.
